Welcome to the Stafford Campus Library

The Stafford Campus Library is a branch of UMW Libraries, and it operates under the direction of the University Librarian at the Simpson Library on the Fredericksburg Campus.  We are located on the second floor of the south building at UMW's Stafford location.

Our address is 121 University Blvd., Fredericksburg, Virginia 22406.



Stafford Library Collection

The Stafford Library provides access to books, periodicals, and electronic resources in the fields of business and education. The Library owns selected ERIC documents on microfiche from 1966-1990 and a complete set from 1991-2003.

Children's Literature

A children’s literature collection is available.  In addition to collecting Newbery, Caldecott, and Coretta Scott King Awards winners, the Library also collects a variety of popular children's titles.

EDCI 589 and 590 Research Project Archive

Print copies of EDCI 589 and EDCI 590 Research Projects are archived and available at the Stafford information desk for use within the Stafford Library. Projects are arranged by call number and are searchable by Title, Author and Subject in the UMW Libraries’ Catalog.

Hours & Directions


EagleOne Student ID Cards

You can obtain an EagleOne card in the Stafford Campus Library whenever we are open.  Simply ask at the Library information desk.  No appointments necessary.

You can also obtain an EagleOne card on the Fredericksburg campus by visiting the EagleOne Card Center on the first floor of Lee Hall.  The EagleOne Card Center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
