  • America's Historical Documents (U.S. National Archives and Records Administration)
  • 100 Milestone Documents : Compiled by the National Archives and Records Administration. The documents chronicle United States history from 1776 to 1965.
  • American Memory (Library of Congress) : Gateway to the primary source materials relating to the history and culture of the United States. Offers more than 7 million digital items.
  • AVALON Project (Yale University) : Presents digital historical documents relevant to the fields of law, economics, politics, diplomacy and government. Also links to supporting documents.
  • ProQuest Congressional Publications : Contains the Congressional Record Bound Edition, 1789-1997.
  • President : Maintained by the Leadership Information Archives at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Furnishes links to archival material on U.S. presidents and presidential libraries from Herbert Hoover to the present.
  • Public Papers of the Presidents of the United States: Containing the public messages, speeches, and statement of the Presidents. Published annually from 1956 on.
  • The American Presidency Project (University of California, Santa Barbara) : Provided text of the Public Papers of the Presidents from 1929-1992/93.
