Note dates of book review coverage in parentheses. If your book was published in 1957, for example, you will not find a review in America: History and Life, as its coverage begins in 1964.
To locate reviews in either of these databases: 1) Be sure you're on the Advanced Search screen. 2) Type the author and title of the book in the top two search boxes (no need to change default settings). 3) Click on "Book Review" in the drop-down "Document Type" window. 4) Click "search." Note: If a review is not full text, click on “Locate Journal Article” to see if the entire review is available in another database or if the review publication is in Simpson Library’s collection.
